I'm a coffee-loving, wine-enthusiast mother of two amazing boys—Jackson and Asher—married to my business partner (literally and figuratively), Justin, for 13 wonderful years. When I'm not diving into spreadsheets or helping clients navigate their finances, you'll find me walking or bike riding with my German Shepherds, Sunnie and Mel, boating around the beautiful Gulf Coast, or embracing my slightly sassy side—because life's too short to take everything so seriously.
I'm a licensed CPA in Florida with over 15 years of experience in audit, tax, consulting, and education. My educational journey took me from Clemson (BS in Accounting) to FSU (MS in Accounting) to USF (MBA) and finally Nova Southeastern (MS in Educational Leadership)—because I believe in never stopping learning. Born in Sarasota but raised right here in Gulf Breeze, this area has always been home to me and my family.
I founded Mykel Robinson, CPA because I believe accounting should feel more human, and that belief comes from years of seeing how traditional firms operate. What sets me apart is my genuine desire to understand not just your numbers, but your story, your goals, and what success really looks like in your world.
I specialize in working with local families, realtors, creatives, interior designers, business coaches, consultants, and new business start-ups throughout the Emerald Coast.
When I'm not working, you can find me volunteering as Co-Chair for the Oriole Beach Elementary PTO Mistle Toe Market, serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Bright Bridge Ministries, or at Coastline Calvary Chapel with my family. I believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much.
Justin Robinson, CFO
I'm a proud father of two incredible boys—Jackson and Asher—husband to Mykel for 13 amazing years, and when I'm not supporting Mykel Robinson, CPA's mission as CFO, you can find me covered in flour at Stop, Drop & Rolls—my artisan cottage bakery that operates right next to my pride and joy: a 1964 Seagrave Pumper firetruck that I use to deliver my baked goods.
My journey to CFO took an interesting path. I started as a decorated chef with degrees in Food Service and Entrepreneurship from Johnson & Wales, and I even had the honor of cooking at the James Beard House in New York City. After earning my MBA from the University of South Florida, I spent five years as a Regional Controller before joining Mykel Robinson, CPA. Born in Missouri but raised in Clearwater, Florida, I bring a unique blend of culinary creativity and financial expertise to everything I do.
I also founded Sea Breeze Accounting Solutions, and my 10 years of accounting and CFO experience help me support Mykel Robinson, CPA's mission. Just like I believe in creating memorable experiences through food, I believe in creating meaningful relationships through our work with clients.
When I'm not crunching numbers or kneading dough, you'll find me in my garden, volunteering at local soup kitchens, or actively participating in the Oriole Beach Elementary PTO. My family and I attend Coastline Calvary Chapel, and I'm passionate about giving back to our community in whatever way I can—whether that's through a warm meal or sound financial guidance.
